Completion of a new line for the production of heating cables

On 4. 5. 2009, a new line for the production of heating cables was completed with the installation of an extruder for the production of fluoropolymer insulation and sheathing. Thus, two extruders are now included in the new line and it is currently possible to use this line to produce all types of insulation and sheathing for ECOFLOOR heating cables.

The new extruder is from a renowned Swiss supplier and ranks among the best on the market. It is designated primarily for the production of sheathing for our new ultra-light ADSA heating cables. The main part of the extruder and the extruder head are made from special materials which are designed for the processing of fluoropolymers.

The extruder will also be used for the production of fluoropolymer insulation, which is the basis for most of our heating cables. Thus, our production capacity has increased, particularly for thin cables for direct-heating floor heating.

The introduction of the new technology will enable the launch of batch production of ADSA ultra-thin cable with a diameter of 2.3 mm and also a new series of CM mats.
