Heating foils for electric floor heating

Warning!!

Correctly designed electric floor heating is, undeniably, one of the most luxurious and effective ways of heating. It has been used in Scandinavia on a wide scale since the 1990s, particularly with the arrival of what are known as laminate and wooden floating floors. A sign of customer satisfaction is not only the ever-growing number of such products sold, but also the relatively high speed with which they are spreading to more and more new markets.

With the growing popularity of heating foils, new producers and distributors have also appeared, mainly from Asian countries. They are trying to sell similar products, often without sufficient knowledge of how to produce or install them.  > > >

Ceilhit s.l. on new premises from September 2011

We are pleased to inform that good economic results enabled Ceilhit s.l., the youngest member of the Fenix group, to invest approximately CZK 10,000,000 into relocating all its activities to new premises in Gavá, approximately 15 km south of Barcelona. These premises suit much better requirements placed for modern and efficient management of production and logistics. Equally, the position in a modern industrial polygon next to the Barcelona - Valencia highway (Barcelona c. 15 minutes by car, airport c. 10 minutes by car) enables fast and easy access. Let us introduce you to our new grounds now:  > > >

New data on the electric energy and natural gas prices development in the European Union

Medial virtual reality keeps confirming the conviction that the growth of energy prices applies exclusively to the electric energy and the rise in the prices of gas remains almost without any comments.
What is the reality, though – let´s look at some hard data published by EUROSTAT:

Ecofloor in Golden Lane in Prague

The Golden Lane at the Prague Castle was festively opened after a year-long reconstruction on 1st June 2011. The main objective of the reconstruction commenced in May 2010 was to repair the obsolete rain water drainage system. The situation was serious as the status of the system was endangering the structural stability of the individual buildings.

During the renovation, a complete reconstruction of all underground services and internal wiring inside the total of 16 period houses was carried out. The whole renovation cost approximately CZK 34 mil, additional CZK 5 mil were invested in restoration works.  > > >

Thermal Gradient Of Low Power ECOFILM Ceiling Heating In Low Energy Houses

Introduction

In April 2010 the Fenix Group produced a report titled "ECOFILM Ceiling Heating in Low Energy Houses". The purpose of this report was to demonstrate that satisfactory thermal gradient comfort curves can be achieved for large area low power radiant ceiling heating systems installed in low heat loss properties.  > > >

Test of Yunsor Radiant Panel and its Comparison with Ecosun 300 Panel

A video appeared on a publicly accessible web page
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXFjhFtbECw&feature=related
where the panel ECOSUN 300U is compared with a product of the Chinese company YUNSOR.
It is clear from the course of the test and its conclusions that the manufacturer does not have sufficient knowledge in the field of thermodynamics and his conclusions are entirely misleading:  > > >

ECOSUN G glass radiant panels

In 2008, FENIX extended its range of products to offer glass radiant GR panels – aesthetically unique products which combine pureness of design with the advantages of infra-red radiant heating. These panels are intended for vertical wall mounting but with the increasing demand for these products the interest in a ceiling version has risen. Therefore, FENIX has prepared a new type – the ECOSUN G radiant panel.  > > >

The new grass surface with electric heating is part of a complete reconstruction of this stadium. ECOFLOOR MAPSV type heating cables with a wattage of 15W/m were used.  > > >

The share of heating in energy consumption in low energy house (LEH)

Anyone considering the construction of a house today almost certainly assumes it will have a minimum of class B energy efficiency, or possibly be on the border between A and B, or even be wholly within the A band (more about PENB – the energy performance certificate for buildings – can be found here…). In other words, it will be at least a low energy house (LEH), or almost a passive house. It is probable that no one today is planning buildings with worse heating characteristics. One of the choices which have to be made concerns the selection of an appropriate heating system. Much has been written about this issue, and much of that contains varying and sometimes even mutually contradictory recommendations. The reason for this is not only that the writers have different subjective viewpoints, but also different priorities which bias their arguments.  > > >

Making winter construction work easier

In the winter period, harsh climatic conditions can lead to complications on construction sites during repairs to damaged gas and water networks, excavation work etc. Such problems can be avoided with the help of FENIX electric heating systems.  > > >

New data on the development of electricity and gas prices in the European Union

The virtual reality created by the media gives the impression that the growth in electricity prices is way out of control, and that it is significantly higher than the growth in prices of other energy sources. But what is the situation really like in the EU and in the Czech Republic? Let’s take a look at the hard data published by the EUROSTAT agency:  > > >
